How to add missing ringtones to Android Dual sim mobile phones

If you attempt to change the default ringtones on your Android dual sim phone and none appear you likely need to perform the following task.

Some versions of Android 4 do not have the ringtones pre-installed if the phone data has been reset after testing.

This is easy to resolve by following the simple instructions below however it may differ according to your computer software. If you’re unsure I would recommend getting someone that is familiar with computers & file management to help you.

The principles are similar for most mobiles as essentially you are putting the ringtones, alarms & notifications into the respective folders which are currently empty.

Download the ringtones file from the link.

Extract the files using a program such as WinZip or WinRAR to a folder on your computer that you are familiar with i.e. the desktop.

Connect your mobile to the computer.

If you have never connected it before ensure that you leave the mobile connected until the computer confirms that the drivers have been installed 1st.

Select Turn on USB storage on dual sim phone when prompted.

You should now be able to find the phone as a new drive on your computer this normally shows up as a removable drive in my computer but will differ from computers.

Copy the files in the ringtones folder onto the phone’s drive.

You may be asked would you like to override answer yes as this will allow you to put the files into the folders easily.

It’s as simple as that when you next go into the phone settings, default profile, default ringtones or phone call ring tones they will appear in the list.

I hope this helps we are not computer experts and cannot support in this field but have tried to put a basic guide above.
